Why should you attend SAP Controlling 2018 conference?

Marjorie W

Through my careers as cost accountant, accounting manager, project manager, and education consultant I’ve attended many SAP FICO conferences. My first experience with this particular conference was in 2014. I was impressed with the roster of speakers, the breadth of topics, and the size of the event. It is just large enough to draw a diverse cross section of SAP CO users and consultants and just small enough for you to be able to connect with others.

Where else could you chat over lunch with the legendary Janet Salmon?

Where else could you ask direct questions of Material Ledger experts Paul Ovigele and Rogerio Faleiros? Where else can you access and download all of the presentation content?
At my first event, Controlling 2014, I was astonished at the quality of the session content. I quickly
realized that this was an event where you could learn something, you could take away meaningful
knowledge offered in every session. Before this, my conference experience was that most were really
just sales events. I’d sat in far too many sessions where audience questions were not taken.
Controlling 2014 was a whole new world for me. I began to avidly promote the event to all of my
clients and students.
As an Education Consultant, I also saw an opportunity to fill a need. In speaking with other attendees
that year, I developed a list of topics that I thought might enhance the conference content. As luck
would have it, I submitted the topics to the conference organizers and found myself a presenter for
the next event. So let’s add another benefit to joining this event- the opportunity to be of service and
join a roster of some of the finest CO minds in the industry today.
I am quite proud to present again this year at Controlling 2018. Please join me in the pre-
conference sessions where we will level-set Controlling and the basic concepts of integration with
Financial Accounting, Materials Management, Production Planning, and Sales and Distribution:

And if you're interested in a panel discussion on how S4/HANA affects CO-PA profitability analysis,
please join me in our customer panel.

Thank you for sharing such a nice and interesting blog with us. I have seen that all will say the same thing repeatedly. But in your blog, I had a chance to get some useful and unique information.
