Controlling 2015 Speaker Profile: Kay Reisenauer, Consolut

Today, we are profiling Controlling 2015 speaker Kay Reisenauer. Kay Reisenauer is a Senior SAP Consultant at consolut, an international SAP consulting company, and has more than 7 years of SAP experience. After several successful SAP implementations in Europe and North America, Kay has expert insight and knowledge of SAP Controlling, Project Systems, and Business Intelligence. He is also an expert in SAP Security Management and regularly provides SAP training. He recently moved from Germany to the United States and is currently working on establishing consolut International LLC in the North American market. Learn more about Kay. 

How did you get your start with SAP and SAP Controlling?

I started with SAP and SAP Controlling in 2008 when I joined consolut. Before that I was working in the Controlling department of a large company in Germany and was part of a project team that implemented a new ERP software for Finance and Controlling. I enjoyed doing that so much, that I decided focus my career in that direction.

 What is one of the most important trends that you see currently in SAP Controlling? 

One of the most important trends I currently see in SAP Controlling is SAP HANA. It simplifies working with SAP and will play a pivotal role in the SAP Controlling module of the future. 

How do you stay on top of Controlling topics? What resources do you regularly use? 

At consolut we have several internal training sessions each year to improve and deepen our SAP FI/CO knowledge. I also search the Internet for new trends and use the Espresso Tutorials online library to stay on top of SAP Controlling topics.

What are you looking forward to about Controlling 2015?

I am looking forward to exchanging new ideas and solutions with people who are working in the SAP Controlling field. I am also very excited about attending some of the Controlling sessions and hope to learn as many new things as I can.

What is your favorite hobby?

My favorite hobby is working out. From running to playing soccer or weight lifting, I like all types of sports. It helps me to clear my head, come up with new ideas, and find solutions for different topics in my work life.
