When does the activity type on someone’s personnel record trump the rate on a material or routing?
An activity type is assigned on each employee personnel record. This activity type is used when a person records time on an order. Personnel costs are debited to the cost center and activity type on the personnel record. The activity rate used is based on the activity rate for the activity type assigned to the employee’s cost center.
