SAP Fiori is a web-based interface that can be used in place of the SAP GUI. SAP Fiori apps access the Universal Journal directly, taking advantage of additional fields like the work center and operation for improved variance reporting.
S/4 HANA Short for SAP Business Suite 4 SAP HANA, S/4 HANA is the next-generation business suite. Aggregation and index tables are removed, and separate transactional tables for individual modules are combined into one table: the universal journal. It eliminates the need for reconciliation and table locks. Line items are read directly, and new reports are available.
SAP HANA is a hybrid in-memory database that utilizes column-based technology and performs many times faster than a traditional database. It uses parallel execution on modern multi-core CPU hardware technology and architecture.
